The latest episode of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2, which aired April 28 KST, saw the continuation of group battles covering popular songs from K-pop boy groups.

Last week, contestants performed 2PMs 10 Out of 10 and EXOs hit song Call Me Baby. This week, viewers saw performances of Super Juniors Sorry Sorry, BTSs Boy in Luv, SHINees Replay, SEVENTEENs Mansae, Infinites Be Mine, and BEASTs Shock.

While many expected the Avengers (Group 1 performing Boy in Luv) team to win the overall group battle on-site scoring, the Group 1 that performed SEVENTEENs Mansae (Park Woo Dam, Joo Won Tak, Kim Yeon Guk, Woo Jin Young, Kim Tae Dong) took first place, despite an unexpected member loss, and Park Woo Dam, the main vocal of the group, ranked first for the contestants. He commented, I thought people would only like good-looking trainees, but thank you.

On April 30, the fourth video for Magazine Ho, a series of where Jinho films a cover every month, was released. While his first two monthly covers were just him alone, Jinho welcomes fellow PENTAGON member Hongseok for a cover of the popular song, Sam Smiths Lay Me Down.

By now, many are aware of Jinhos vocal prowess, whether from its from knowing him from his S.M. the Ballad days, or from his position as one of PENTAGONs main vocalists. In this video, he is not the only stunner, as Hongseok displays vocal skills that rival those of the main vocals. He was undeniably talented when he first appeared in the entertainment world way back when as a YG trainee, but since then, it appears Hongseok has improved his talents even further.
