Whether a unit is derived from an existing group or is a product of a multi-group collaboration, these groups have come out with some great music. All 5 concept evaluation songs from Mnet's 'Produce 101' season 2 will be released online this week, a day after the upcoming broadcast on Friday.

"I Know You Know" by Shin Hyuk, "Show Time", "Open" by Devine-Channel, "Oh Little Girl" by Kiggen and ASSBRASS, and "Never" by Triple H will be released on June 3 at noon KST on domestic music charts, but fans will not be able to find out which trainees will be grouped together for the 5 songs until after the newest broadcast.

Produce 101 Season 2 Finale Songs To Be Officially Released Digitally

Songs from the finale of Produce 101 Season 2 will be released online!

The 20 remaining trainees competed with original tracks Super Hot and Hands on Me on the last episode on June 16. Written by Ryan Jhun and Fredrik Figge Bostrom, Super Hot is a future disco funk track with a catchy hook. Hands on Me by The Underdogs and DEEZ is a dance pop track with a funky rhythm and RB base.

All top 20 contestants will also be performing ballad track Always together. A pop ballad track with a British pop base, it is a song for fans written by producers Real Man and Paper Planet.

5 K-Pop girl groups make it on Billboard's '100 Greatest Girl Group Songs Of All Time' List

Recently, Billboard revealed their list of the '100 Greatest Girl Group Songs Of All Time'. The list included five idol girl groups representing K-Pop.  

Starting at number 88, first generation girl group Fin.K.L made their name known with the title song "Now" released in 2000.  Taking charge of 70th place was Red Velvet with "Dumb Dumb" released in 2015.  The description states, "There are pop hooks that grab you, and then there are hooks that strangle you and absolutely refuse to let go. Red Velvet's "Dumb Dumb" epitomizes that latter, with the quirky quintet repeating the word "dumb" more than 200 times throughout this single..."  Standing strong at 59th was f(x)'s "Rum Pum Pum Pum" from 2013.

On September 4, MBK Entertainment released an official statement in regards to DIA members Yebin and Somyi participating in idol rebooting show “The Unit.”

Hello, this is MBK Entertainment.

It has officially been decided that DIAs Yebin and Somyi will be participating in KBSs The Unit. The two have only completed interviews for The Unit.

Until they join ‘The Unit,’ they will be focusing on currently planned DIA activities. After they join ‘The Unit’ later on, it’s expected that DIA will be doing activities with seven members.
