'Bad Guys' Season 2 News: 'Man To Man' Star Park Sung Woong Offered Lead Role In 'Bad Guys: Age Of Evil'

Fans of OCN's "Bad Guys" who have been patiently waiting for its sequel may be disappointed to learn that the second season being produced by OCN not a sequel, but a spinoff. This means that motley crew of Mad Dog's convicts turned police investigators will be no more and instead, a new team will be formed with a slightly different concept.

It was earlier reported by Kpopstarz that OCN was getting ready to shoot with the original team - writer Han Jung Hoon, PD Han Dong Hwa, as well as original cast members Kim Sang Joong, Park Hae Jin, Ma Dong Seok, Jo Dong Hyuk and Kang Ye Won to pick up the story from where the original series left off. It can be recalled that the idea of a sequel was teased at the ending when Mad Dog Oh Gu Tak (Kim Sang Joong) was seen as he was being released from prison to consult on a complicated case being handled by the police. "Train to Busan" star Ma Dong Seok, who played underground thug Park Un Cheol in "Bad Guys" Season 1 also teased a return during the BTS clip where he said they wanted to come back for Season 2.

[Photos + Video] Park Sung-woong is riveting in new trailer and stills for "Method"

"Method", which is going to have its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, has released a pretty intense trailer. Park Sung-woong, with his usual savvy, is a tough-as-nails character who doesn't let the rookie get away with anything. The clarity of cinematography that blends with the confused emotions of Oh Seung-hoon's character are the attractions in this trailer. Makes me excited for the festival.

[Photos] Gorgeous character posters of Park Sung-woong and Oh Seung-hoon for "Method"

These are some gorgeous character posters if I do say so myself. Park Sung-woong and Oh Seung-hoon are gazing out through lace, which most certainly is a metaphor for hiding behind their parts, their fears, the stage, and real-life drama.
