Actress Kim Jung Min, who previously reported the CEO of cafe chain Coffee Smith — her ex-boyfriend — for blackmail, is pressing further criminal charges for defamation.

The actresss legal representative, Kim Young Man, said on July 26 through an official statement, “As a result of one-sided, speculative reports and an interview that was held in retaliation, Kim Jung Min has seen further damage to her reputation,” and revealed that Kim Jung Min will be pressing criminal charges for defamation and spreading of false information.

Her ex-boyfriend Son Tae Young, the CEO of a popular coffee shop chain in Korea, was recently charged for blackmailing Kim Jung Min with a video of her and demanding money from her. CEO Son had previously accused Kim Jung Min of swindling money under false promises of marriage, saying, Kim Jung Min used my money for the year and a half that we were in a relationship, and when I brought up the possibility of marriage, she disappeared.

The event was held in COEX on the 24th. Ha Jung-woo was awarded Best Actor for "Tunnel" and Son Ye-jin Best Actress for "The Truth Beneath".

Ha Jung-woo made a speech thanking those he worked with in the movie and thanked the director for giving him such a good character.

Son Ye-jin also made a speech saying she felt more responsible with every award she got.

Meanwhile, the Best Director went to Na Hong-jin from "The Wailing", the Best Supporting Actor to Park Jung-min from "DongJu, The Portrait of A Poet" and the Best Supporting Actress to Yoo In-young from "Misbehavior".
