After celebrating their 10 year anniversary with the release of their latest album 'Holiday Night' and two promotional tracks, Girls' Generation are discussing the possibility of renewing their contracts with SM Entertainment.

On August 16th, all 8 members of Girls' Generation met with SM Entertainment and other agency members about renegotiating their exclusive contracts since they came to an end this month.

SM Entertainment left a statement for the public saying, "It's true we're currently renewing our contracts with the Girls' Generation members. Most of the members have already renewed their contracts, and we're in talks with the remaining members."

During her press conference for "The King Loves", Girls' Generation's YoonAtalked about her room for growth despite being a veteran in the industry.

She said, "This particular drama feels especially important as it is a domestic drama that marks my tenth year in the industry.Even though it's been 10 years since my debut, I feel that I still need to show a lot more, do more, and feel more."

During the conference, she spoke about how it was an honor to work with so many talented actors/actresses. She also was appreciative of the staff that has helped and supported her throughout the filming process. Even at her 10th year, she continues to praise others and show humility that does not come very often in the entertainment business.

In the interview, titled A Decade to Remember, each of the Girls Generation members were interviewed about how theyve changed since their debut, what Girls Generation means to them, and the highs and lows of the past 10 years.

YoonA said, We all grew and matured through building up experience. Weve grown comfortable with things that used to make us nervous or awkward. Personality-wise, I think Seohyun has changed the most. She used to be introverted but now she is more energetic and approaches people first. Thats partly due to her own efforts and partly because of the members. Tiffany has improved a lot in Korean and chooses her words well in interviews.

On August 5, Girls Generation celebrated their 10 year anniversary with fans by holding a fan meeting, 10th Anniversary -Holiday To Remember.

During the fan meeting, they performed new songs from their sixth album, including Holiday and All Night, as well as their older songs dating back to their first album. The girls also shared their thoughts on being together for ten years.
