With 22 weeks on top of the Billboard charts, K-pop superstars BTS has finally overtaken Miley Cyrus and Rihanna's records on top of the charts. This is a milestone achievement for the K-pop group which has recently concluded their sold out US leg of their "Wings" World Tour.

According to a report by SBS Pop Asia, with 22 weeks on the Billboard charts, BTS now ranks third in the lists of artists who have the longest stay on the charts. They come next only to Taylor Swift who maintained her position on the Billboard Top 50 charts at 28 weeks. However, they are still a long way to go before beating the record set by Justin Bieber at 161 weeks.

Multiple K-pop artists made it to 'Billboard's World Album' chart for the week of May 13.

IU took the number one spot on the 'World Album' chart with 'Palette.' Indie band hyukoh took sixth place with '23', and Jonghyun following behind at number 7 with 'JONGHYUN The Collection Story Op.2'. Finally, former 2NE1 member Minzy ranking ninth place with her solo debut album 'Minzy Work 01 UNO.'
