Big Hit Entertainment hits over 5 million subscribers on YouTube

Big Hit Entertainment has garnered over 5 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel.

With its consistent efforts and work, the company was able to hit over 5 million subscribers for the channel. 

Over the past week, the channel gained nearly 320,000 subscribers. The subscription numbers jumped rapidly after BTS started releasing the "Love Yourself" highlight reels. Back in January, the channel had around 2.2 million subscribers, so Big Hit's subscription total has more than doubled in a little under 8 months.

KARD has hit 1 million subscribers on YouTube.

The group has not even debuted yet, but they've been churning out hits with their 3-level debut project. Their official debut song "Hola Hola" is already highly anticipated, and they've hit 1 million subscribers.

Big Bang's channel is the most-subscribed single K-pop group channel on YouTube (the most subscribed K-pop channel is SMTOWN, which is for all their groups). The group has just hit 8 million subscribers, an amazing feat for the group.

Big Bang's channel was started in October 2005, and has a total of 3,908,766,013 views (at time of writing).

On May 29, world star PSY recently reached 10 million subscribers on his official YouTube channel, making him the first Asian artist to achieve this milestone.

To celebrate the historical moment, YouTube awarded the singer with a Diamond Play Button, which is given to individuals who reach 10 million subscribers on the platform. Following the honor, PSY posted a thank you video and said, This is a true honor.  YouTube has been an excellent platform and a bridge that has allowed me to extend my decade-long career as a singer in foreign countries as well.

YouTube gifted PSY with a Diamond Play Button for reaching 10 million subscribers on his official channel.

Upon receiving the button, PSY thanked YouTube and expressed how honored he was to be receiving such a gift.

He also revealed that he was the first ever artist to reach that many subscribers, and showed that his account username was inscribed on the back of the button.

PSY then thanked YouTube again for allowing him to expand his music career from Korea to the world, and for providing him a platform to connect to his 10 million fans.
