On July 20, Black Pink held their debut showcase at the prestigious venue Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. Before their showcase, the girls held a brief interview session with the media.

Here are three questions the media members asked and the answers by the members.

What is your state of mind now that you are about to perform for the first time in Japan?

As Black Pink has never performed in front of their fans, Jennie said, "This is the first opportunity for us to meet our fans in Japan like this. We haven't done this even in Korea, so being able to do this at this big venue, I'm nervous already for the rehearsal."

Quartet Black Pink to Debut in Japan

Quartet Black Pink will make its overseas debut in Japan, according to their agency YG Entertainment on Wednesday.

A showcase is scheduled at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on July 20, and the debut album will be released on Aug. 9.

Black Pink is one of the hottest new girl groups in K-pop. With less than a year since their debut in August last year, they have three music videos on YouTube that have over 100 million views.

All of their videos on their official channel on YouTube have been viewed more than 600 million times.

Upcoming girl group ELRIS is introducing themselves in the first look at their debut MV!

On May 30 at midnight KST, Hunus Entertainment shared a music video teaser for ELRISs debut track WE,first. The video features a cute concept and showcases individual shots of all five members: Karin, Hyeseong, Bella, Yukyung, and Sohee. Sohee competed on K-Pop Star 6 as Kim Sohee and made her solo debut earlier this month. Watch the video below!

TWICE will be spreading their love towards their Japanese fans! The "Nation's Girl Group" has recorded the Japanese version of "Like OHH-AHH" to be released this month.

Summer 2017 will be the mark of TWICE's debut in Japan. As reported by All Kpop, the girl group will be releasing a Japanese version of their debut song "Like OHH-AHH" within the month.

Similarly, all of TWICE's hit songs will be having a Japanese version for their Japanese fans. These include "Cheer Up", "Knock Knock", and "TT" just to name a few.

Black Pink shared about their group name on 'Cultwo Show'.

On the July 6 broadcast, Black Pink guested on the radio show with Heize. During the talk, Black Pink revealed, "Our sajangnim (boss) created the name for us. There was a temporary name before debut and that was Pink Punk. He coolly changed it and it became Black Pink."
