Every time Black Pink show up, the music charts blow up! The group is on fire as they are on top of Japan's most prestigious music chart following their highly-anticipated Japanese debut.

On August 30, their mini album titled 'BLACK PINK' topped Oricon's 'Daily Album' chart taking the No.1 spot!  

The Japanese album features hit tracks such as "BOOMBAYAH", "WHISTLE", "PLAYING WITH FIRE", "STAY" and "As If It's Your Last" in both Korean and Japanese, and sold 21,583 copies on the first day.

Black Pink is on fire as they accomplished a rare feat for debuting artists in Japan! 

According to Oricon, Black Pink has topped Japan's most prestigious music chart following their highly-anticipated Japanese debut. Their mini album titled 'BLACK PINK,' which was released on August 30, topped Oricon's 'Weekly Album' chart by selling 39,000 copies!

Black Pink is only the third foreign artist to top Oricon's Weekly Album chart after making their debut. The other two to have accomplished this are 2NE1 and Russian music duo t.A.T.u.

SHINee's Taeminhas topped Japan's Oricon daily album chart!

After the release of his 2nd Japanese mini album 'Flame of Love' on July 18, Taemin immediately ranked #1 on Oricon's daily chart. The mini album contains title song "Flame of Love" as well as "I'm Crying", "Do It Baby", "Door", and "Itsuka Kokode".

Just weeks before their official Japanese debut, Black Pink's popularity can be seen on the streets of Japan.

According to YG Entertainment on August 15, Black Pink recently collaborated with popular magazine 'NYLON JAPAN' and fashion brand 'SHEL'TTER', celebrating the brand's 10th anniversary.

NYLON JAPAN's September issue had four special versions featuring Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa on the covers.  The special September issue is said to be a limited edition, which all sold out in just three days after the release.

Black Pink's 'BOOMBAYAH' edges out TWICE's 'Like OOH-AHH' as the most watched debut MV

Black Pinknow have the most-watched debut K-pop MV, as of May 31.

The title originally belonged to TWICEand "Like OOH-AHH", but Black Pink's "BOOMBAYAH" has now edged out ahead. At time of writing, TWICE's "Like OOH-AHH" has 158,308,030 views while "BOOMBAYAH" has158,502,272.
