On July 5 KST, Billboard released their latest weekly charts for the week ending in July 15.

MAMAMOO sits at the top of the World Albums chart with their mini album Purple, which is making its debut on the chart this week. This is the highest that one of their releases has ever ranked on the chart, with their second highest being their 2015 mini album Pink Funky which came in No. 7.

On August 15, Billboard released their latest charts for the week of August 26.

Girls’ Generation has grabbed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s World Albums chart with their sixth album “Holiday Night.” It includes the title tracks “All Night” and “Holiday” and the album celebrates their tenth anniversary.

The group has now tied Red Velvet for the most No. 1s on the World Albums chart by a K-pop girl group, as they both have now had three albums take the top spot! Girls’ Generation’s previous albums that came in No. 1 were “I Got a Boy” and “Lion Heart.”

As was previously announced, G-Dragons new album Kwon Ji Yong has taken the top spot on the chart, as well as the Heatseekers Albums chart. The album has also come in at No. 192 on the Billboard 200 chart with only one day of recorded U.S. sales!
