(Photo : SM Entertainment)Following the announcement closing week that SM Entertainment will debut a new male idol group in 2016, rumors have abounded in regards to the upcoming group.
On Thursday, SM Entertainment denied the preferred rumor, that 24 trainees from SM's pre-debut SM Newbies group could be debuting. SM Entertainment clarified that the corporate has no plans to debut any group better than the 12 contributors EXO debuted with in 2012.
"We've attempted all that we will be ready to alongside forming massive groups," the rep told Korean media, consistent with Sports Chosun.
SM Entertainment's rep showed that there are a lot of SM Rookies who are actively promoting, with the male trainees retaining their own concert and others acting on Korean edition of the childrendisplay "The Mickey Mouse Club" with Tremendous Junior's Leeteuk.
The rep also clarified that the quantity of members, which members, and the concept that of the ganghaven't begun to be confirmed.
"Rumors about the new group members will also be hurtful to members of SMRookies who are runningdifficult to debut," stated the rep.
The Sports Chosun held up SM Entertainment teams like EXO (12 members upon debut), Super Junior (15 members at their height adding two Chinese members), and Girls' Generation (9 members upon debut) as prior attempts by potential of SM Entertainment to make higher idol groups.
