Another idol group has announced their participation in KBSs upcoming idol reboot show, The Unit.

Previously, former T-ara member Areum and Brave Entertainments BIGSTAR and Brave Girls had confirmed their appearances on the show.

Now Boys Republics agency Universal Music Korea has stated that all five members of Boys Republic will be participating in The Unit.

Boys Republic last made a domestic comeback in March 2016 with BR: Evolution and have been promoting in Japan ever since.

KBSs Idol Reboot Show The Unit Decides On Final Group Details

KBSs upcoming idol audition program Idol Rebooting Project The Unit (hereafter referred to as The Unit) has finalized details regarding contracts for participants who become final members.

The show aims to create two K-pop unit groups, male and female. Each group will have 10 members each.

However, music production companies have voiced their opposition against idol audition programs that are breaking into the management industry. Due to this opposition, KBS has decided the reduce the length of the exclusive contract with the final group members from 14 months to 7 months.

BIGSTAR And Brave Girls Members To Join Idol Reboot Show The Unit

The line up for KBSs upcoming idol rebooting project The Unit continues to grow!

After it was confirmed that former T-ara member Areum will be joining the show, it has been revealed that Brave Entertainments groups BIGSTAR and Brave Girls will be joining as well. More specifically, all members of BIGSTAR are expected to participate. As for Brave Girls, members Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna will be joining.

Brave Girls debuted in 2011 and experience several member changes. Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna joined as new members in 2016. Following their addition, the group has promoted with catchy and sexy songs like High Heel, Rollin, and Yoo Hoo.

Members of Boys Republic and Brave Girls are going on KBS 2TV's 'The Unit'.

'The Unit' is a new idol rebooting program that aims to give a second chance to those idols who failed to gain the spotlight. 

On August 17, producers of 'The Unit' confirmed the members of Boys Republic and Brave Girls are participating in the show. 

A rep from Brave Girls' label also confirmed, "Yuna, Eunji, and Yoojung are participating in 'The Unit'.''

Meanwhile, rumors stated that a member of AOA is also joining the new program but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Dal Shabets Subin Added To Lineup For Idol Reboot Show The Unit

Dal Shabets Subin will be joining KBSs upcoming idol rebooting project The Unit.

On August 23, a source from her agency Happy Face Entertainment stated, Subin has decided to participate in The Unit. She wanted to join so she could reveal things she couldnt show while promoting with Dal Shabet.

They continued, Subin loves music and has even written some of her own songs, so she wants to try showing this side of herself through the program. She will be the only Dal Shabet member participating in the show.
