BTSs latest Japanese release has been a huge success!

Japans largest music statistics-tracking company Oricon recently released its rankings of the highest estimated total sales for singles and albums in the first half of 2017. The Japanese version of BTSs hit Blood, Sweat Tears has come in at No. 11 on the singles chart with estimated total sales of 257,621.

BTS is the only K-pop artist to make it into the top 25 list of the highest ranking singles in Japan for the first half of 2017.

BTS is the only foreign artist to be in the top 10 on Japan's Oricon chart for the first half of 2017.

On July 14, Oricon Style reported the first half numbers including sales from singles, albums, and DVDs.  According to the numbers, BTS was the only foreign group listed in any of the categories.

BTS's 7th Japanese single "Blood, Sweat, Tears" which was released on May 10 ranked number 10 on the singles chart for the first half of 2017.  It was revealed that they were the first foreign artist to sell over 200,000 copies of their single album in 6 years.  "Blood, Sweat, Tears" sold a total of 238,795 copies during the first week.

Yesterday, DAY6 released their first studio album Sunrise as well as the MV for their latest title track I Smile.

As of June 8, DAY6s first studio album has topped iTunes album charts in nine different countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Brunei, and Sweden.

Furthermore, their title track I Smile has topped the iTunes K-pop charts in 11 different countries, including the United States, Australia, Mexico, and Argentina.

BTS 'Blood Sweat & Tears' Japanese Version Tops Oricon, ITunes Charts In 13 Countries

With its bid to take over the world, K-popsuperstar group BTS is now making waves in Japan after the release of the Japanese version of their 2016 hit "Blood, Sweat, and Tears." The single has conquered the ORICON chart for two straight days and sold over 200,000 copies of the single.

According to a report by Kstarlive, BTS' "Blood Sweat and Tears" topped Oricon on its first day by selling 141,242 copies. On its second consecutive day of topping the charts, the numbers jumped to an impressive 223,082 in total physical sales.
