BTS to Start Annual 'BTS FESTA' For Fans, Promises 2 Weeks of Continuous Fun For ARMY

BTS will be giving fans the time of their lives for 2 straight weeks! This is in part of the boy group's fourth year anniversary since debut.

It has been 4 years since BTS debuted in June of 2013. Since then, the Bangtan Boys have been holding their annual "BTS FESTA" for their beloved ARMY.

As reported by All Kpop, BTS will be holding an opening ceremony on Thursday, June 1. From then on, the boys will be holding an event for 2 straight weeks until Wednesday, June 14.

The first week of "BTS FESTA" is dubbed "Step #1: STARS". The week will start on Friday, June 2 with BTS' showcase of "Photo Collection".

BTS has held a 'BTS FESTA' every year for their debut anniversary, and this year is no different!

The boys will be starting off with an 'opening ceremony' on June 1, and have an event every single day until June 14. The one day where they won't have an event is on June 6 and that is to respect Korea's Memorial Day.

Lee Min-ho's agency has revealed that the actor will start serving as a public service officer at Gangnam District Office soon. Korean netizens are supportive of the move.

Normally, Koreans have been critical of celebrities who have chosen to enlist as public service officers rather than as active duty soldiers. In the case of Lee Min-ho, his history of car accidents, one in 2006 and another in 2011, have made the decision understandable. Fellow actor, Jeong Il-woo was also injured in the 2006 car accident, and enlisted as a public service worker in December 2016.

Army Bombs are known to be the official lightstick for BTS. It was first introduced in March of 2015. 

Last month, G-Friend launched their Glass Marble stick.

As you can see, the lightsticks of the two groups share a similar design. Currently, this similarity is becoming an issue to many BTS fans. It's claimed that G-Friend stole BTS' design and fans are demanding feedback from Source Music.
