BTS has topped the list of most mentioned music keywords of the first half of 2017 on Twitter!

ARMY must've been dedicated to promoting the idol group with hashtags on Twitter as BTS were #1 on the list of most mentioned music keywords in Korean. In 2nd was EXO, 3rd Red Velvet, 4th TWICE, 5th IOI, 6th Highlight, 7th G-Friend, 8th GOT7, 9th Sechskies, and in 10th Lovelyz.

BTS And Produce 101 Season 2 Top Korean Twitter Keywords Rankings For First Half Of 2017

BTS and “Produce 101 Season 2” have been two of the hottest topics in Korean on Twitter so far this year!

On July 12, Twitter Korea released a list of the Top Keywords for the first half of the year ending on June 30, based on an analysis of data generated by Korean users. The keywords are divided into three categories: Social, Music, and TV/Film.

The “Social” category was largely dominated by discussions about the recent election in Korea as well as controversies surrounding former president Park Geun Hye and the events leading up to her impeachment. “Presidential election” came in first, the current president Moon Jae In followed in second, and blacklist came in third.

As of June 8, DAY6s first studio album has topped iTunes album charts in nine different countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Brunei, and Sweden.

Furthermore, their title track I Smile has topped the iTunes K-pop charts in 11 different countries, including the United States, Australia, Mexico, and Argentina.
