'2017 Dream Concert' reveals 1st lineup including EXO, Red Velvet, Taemin, NCT 127, and more!

The upcoming '2017 Dream Concert' revealed its first lineup of artists!

The concert will take place at Jamsil Olympic Stadium for the 23rd year in a row this year, on June 3 at 6PM KST. Over the years, it has become the concert that youths in their teens favor the most. The concert this year will also carry out promotions to encourage and support the national representatives who will be competing at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The first confirmed lineup includes EXO, SHINee's Taemin, VIXX, Red Velvet, NCT 127, ASTRO, Brave Girls, LABOUM, SONAMOO, BIGFLO, CLC, Romeo, DIA, B.I.G, and Snuper!

The first set of artists that will be attending the 2017s Dream Concert has been revealed.

The Dream Concert, which will be celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year, will be held on June 3, 2017 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and the first 15 artists attending have been announced.

The first wave of artists revealed to be headlining at the annual event will be: EXO, Red Velvet, and SHINEEs Taemin. All 3 S.M. Entertainment artists also attended last years Dream Concert.

Red Velvets Seulgi and Yeri couldnt help but burst into tears as they watched an emotional video made for them by their loyal and loving fans.

On April 16, Red Velvet went to Taipei, Taiwan for a ROOKIE Mini-Album Event and fansign. During the fansign, their Taiwanese fans presented the members with a heartwarming fan-made video.

The video contained clips of Red Velvet with messages describing each members milestones between debuting 3 years ago and now. It also contained encouraging messages that described support for Red Velvet during both happy and sad times.

It looks like Red Velvet may have finally decided on their fandom name!

Rumors say the official fandom name of the girl group will be 'ReVeluv'. The speculations arose after netizens found out that SM Entertainment recently filed a trademark application to the Korea Institute of Patent Information for 'ReVeluv'.

From April 15-16, British rock band Coldplay performed at Seoul's Jamsil Olympic Stadium. 

The band must have had a chance to explore Korea during their visit because after they wrapped up their concert performances, band member Chris Martin took to Coldplay's official Twitter to post a photo of a monument. He also gave a shoutout to popular Korean indie band Nell, writing, "Thank you, South Korea. Here's a song by Korean band Nell that I like very much. Happy Easter. Love, CM."
