Actor Yeo Jin Goo, who played the role of Kim Woo Jin in the 2017 storyline, said, It was an honor to be a part of a refreshingly unique drama like Circle, with its smooth storyline, unique genre of sci-fi mystery, and double track narrative. I would like to thank all the viewers who continued to send us love and support throughout the dramas run. tvNs Upcoming Sci-Fi Drama Circle To Air Special Preview Episode

Circle is planning to air a preview special ahead of the dramas first episode.

tvNs new Monday-Tuesday drama Circle: Two Worlds Connected will be airing its Circle: The Beginning episode on May 16 at 11 p.m. KST. The special is expected to raise anticipation for the new drama, and will be narrated by Kim Kyung Shik, who is known as the god of introducing movies in Korea.

Circle is a sci-fi thriller that is divided into two parts, Part 1: Beta Project and Part 2: An Amazing New World, that take place in 2017 and 2037 respectively.  It is not a time-slip storyline, but is actually a double-track drama that will show stories in two different generations in the same episode. The drama will feature appearances by Yeo Jin Goo, Gong Seung Yeon, Kim Kang Woo, and Highlights Lee Gi Kwang.

The new stills show Yeo Jin Goo and Gong Seung Yeon sitting in front of their laptops and looking like determined college students.

The next still shows Yeo Jin Goo gazing at Gong Seung Yeon in the school library.

The two characters in the drama will try to uncover the truth behind some mysterious deaths. Circle will simultaneously take place in 2017 and 2037. Yeo Jin Goo and Gong Seung Yeon will be showing off their chemistry in Part One: Beta Project, which is set in 2017.

Main Cast Of tvNs Circle Spends Quality Time With Fans At Special Preview Screening Of First Episode

tvNs Circle held a special preview screening on May 19 to give people the opportunity to spend time with the cast and get a sneak peek of the drama. The event was attended by the main cast of Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Kang Woo, Gong Seung Yeon, and An Woo Yeon, as well as director Min Jin Gi. Lee Gi Kwang was unable to be there due to a prior engagement.

Anticipation for Circle is already high as it will be tvNs first sci-fi thriller drama, and this was evident as approximately 5500 people signed up for the event that only had 250 seats available. Before the screening of the first episode, the actors expressed their gratitude, answered questions, and even hugged and took selfies with attendees.
