ChoA is leaving AOA. In her lengthy Instagram post uploaded on Thursday, June 22, ChoA revealed the details of her decision to leave the girl group.

As previously reported by KpopStarz, ChoA clarified the rumors of her leaving AOA. In her Instagram post uploaded on May 16, the AOA member stated that she is "not" leaving the group and is just taking a personal time off.

However, in her lengthy Instagram post uploaded on the evening of June 22, Koreabooreports that ChoA announced she is officially leaving AOA. According to ChoA herself, she is currently suffering depression.

After a lot of speculation that she would leave AOA, ChoA herself confirmed her leave through an Instagram post on June 22. She explained her reasons were depression and insomnia, stating her attempts to use medication did not help.

Crayon Pop announces Soyul's departure from the group

On May 31, Chrome Entertainment announced Soyul's departure from Crayon Pop.

The label told media outlets, "Soyul will be leaving the group, and Ellin, Gummi, Way, and ChoA will be continuing Crayon Pop promotions. We will resume with event and album preparation schedules as planned." 

It was also revealed, "The members will not be renewing their contracts. They simply decided to come to an agreement for the time being in order to carry out their promotions."

UEE confirms departure from After School + Pledis Entertainment

Pledis Entertainment confirmed on May 31 that UEE will be graduating from After School, as well as leaving the company to seek out a new label.
