G-Dragon of boy band Big Bang launched his solo world tour with a performance for 40,000 adoring fans at World Cup Stadium in Seoul on Saturday. The show followed the release of his first solo album in four years.

The concert, which took in W4.4 billion in ticket sales, will likely be one of the singer's last in Seoul before he is drafted (US$1=W1,125).

After five minutes, the singer returned to the stage and performed a three-song encore including his new track "Untitled, 2014". Although the song was released just three days earlier, the fans knew it by heart and sang it with him.
