After 6 years, Kyuhyun has officially left the host panel on 'Radio Star' to start up his mandatory military service, and the show is currently searching for candidates to fill the sought-after MC spot. DinDin, Heechul, and Shin Jung Hwanare reported to be the strongest contenders to fill the position, but producers haven't given any official word.

Super Juniors Kyuhyun will continue to record for Radio Star until his army enlistment on May 25. He has been with the talk show for over five years, joining the cast in October 2011.

Originally, last week was supposed to be the last day for Kyuhyun to film Radio Star. The producers agreed that the next filming date, May 24, would be too much of a burden for Kyuhyun because it is the day before his enlistment. However, because they will film for an important episode celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Radio Star on May 24, Kyuhyun graciously agreed to join the recording one last time.

The episode of MBCs Section TV Entertainment Relay that aired on May 28 followed Super Juniors Kyuhyun as he filmed his last episode on Radio Star before his military enlistment.

Kyuhyun first joined the show as an intern MC and has since made his mark on the show, standing shoulder to shoulder with the other, more experienced MCs. The idol even teared up as he looked back on his time on Radio Star.

Though he said that he had a good nights sleep ahead of his final day on set, Kyuhyun seemed a little mellow and less energetic than usual. To comfort him, Kim Gura chimed in and said, The hardest thing will probably be training with kids who are Donghyun [MC Gree]s age. I, alongside Kim Gook Jin and Yoon Jong Shin, will do our best to stay healthy and keep this show going till you return.

Kyuhyun is serving national duty in public service as he was in an accident in 2007. He will receive basic training at the Nonsan Training Camp.

Kyuhyun joined "Radio Star" on the 19th of October 2011 and has been an MC for 6 years. Along with Kim Gook-jin, Yoon Jong-sin and Kim Goo-ra he created several nicknames for himself and gained favors from viewers and fans.

Super Junior member Eunhyuk has finally returned to television after completing his mandatory military service!

On July 26, Eunhyuk appeared as a special MC on MBC’s talk show “Radio Star.” The show has been recruiting special MCs to fill their fourth MC chair since Eunhyuk’s fellow member Kyuhyun left to fulfill his mandatory service in the army in May.

Eunhyuk filmed the show on the fifth day after being discharged from the army on July 12. He looked nervous as he smiled and first greeted viewers with a few hesitant bows, which made his fellow MCs laugh.
