Which boy groups top the list of first-week album sales in 2017 so far?

A list of the biggest first-week sales for boy groups in 2017 has been compiled.

EXO top the list at over 602,000 albums sold in just the first week with 'The War', breaking their own previous record with 'EX'ACT'. Following at 2nd is BTS with over 373,000 copies of 'You Never Walk Alone'. Seventeen shows the top 3 boy groups really are 'EBS' and come in 3rd place with over 192,000 copies sold of 'Al1'. GOT7 is very close behind with 159,000 copies of 'Arrival', and Highlight comes next with almost 74,000 copies of 'Can You Feel It?'.

Seventeen's 'Al1' becomes the idol album with 2nd highest first-week sales in 2017

Seventeen keeps growing.

The boys' most recent 'Al1' is their most sold album yet, with 192,399 first-week sales compared to the 131,998 first-week sales of their last mini album 'Going Seventeen'. This puts them at 2nd highest idol first-week sales in 2017, and 10th highest idol first-week sales of all time.

The title song of 'Happy Moment' is "Happy", a track byBlack Eyed Pilseung. Fans are excited as the producer is known asthe mastermind behind all ofTWICE's hits excluding their latest song "Signal".

BTS is now the only K-pop group on Billboard's top boxscore list

On the latest Billboard Boxscore list, BTS is the only K-pop group on the list.

It lists the top 100 individual shows around the world. BTS placed #4 through their May 26 concert in Sydney, Australia at the Qudos Bank Arena. By filling 11,023 seats out of 11,424, and garnering a gross sales amount of $2,054,650, they have placed themselves within the top five of this particular list.

Ten days ago, EXO was the only group to be on this list and now BTS is also on this list. Much respect and congratulations to both groups for accomplishing such a feat!
