GOT7 fans accuse Produce 101 contestants of copying Hard Carry

Some Produce 101 contestants are being accused of making use of GOT7s Hard Carry in the composition of their original song and choreography.

In a recent episode of Mnets Produce 101, groups had to perform a song a dance as part of the A-F rank level test. The group from Brand New Music, which consisted of trainees Kim Donghyeon, Park Woojin, Lee Daehwi, and Lim Yeongmin, performed what they claimed to be a completely original composition accompanied by original choreography.

One of G-Friend's managers is receiving a lot of hate from the girl group's fans.

Fans were initially unhappy with the way this manager acted during a recent fan signing event, and they went on to bring up past instances of the manager "unnecessarily" touching the G-Friend members. During the fan signing, Yerinexpressed she had something in her hair, and according to fans, her manager unexpectedly came up behind her and touched her hair unnecessarily.

Fans are angry at the great similarity between BTS and G-Friend's lightsticks.

Army Bombs are known to be the official lightstick for BTS. It was first introduced in March of 2015. 

Last month, G-Friend launched their Glass Marble stick.

As you can see, the lightsticks of the two groups share a similar design. Currently, this similarity is becoming an issue to many BTS fans. It's claimed that G-Friend stole BTS' design and fans are demanding feedback from Source Music.

Vietnames Fans Discover An OST Plagiarizing Akdong Musicians “Give Love”

Fans have discovered a plagiarized Vietnamese version of Akdong Musicians Give Love called Trao Yêu Thương Hoàng Hải Dương, Rosa Alba.

The company has allegedly been using the song in dramas without giving proper credits to the duo.

This version of the song is also being used in an online dance game which does not credit Akdong Musician either.

The Vietnamese fanclub informed the company of the plagiarism but they didnt stop promoting the song once being aware of the issue. Instead of taking the song down, they changed the title of the track to say Give Love AKMU Cover.

G-Friend member SinB and Eunha presented special covers live in front of fans.

On June 5, the G-Friend YouTube channel uploaded a video showing SinB and Eunha demonstrating their soothing vocals. SinB prepared a cover of Bolppalgan4's "Freesia" while member Eunha sang "Love in the Milky Way Cafe" originally sung by 10cm, going for a poppy and jazzy vibe.
