On July 26, the two members shared videos on their Instagram stories of many fans waiting for NCT at the airport. Hyoyeon captioned, "A celebrity must be here", "I heard it's NCT."

A netizen, who claimed to have been at the airport at the time, explained the situation and said, "I'm a person who was at the airport at the time. NCT fans were not only out of order but harmed Girls' Generation and many other attendants. They pushed away people to take pictures, stood on chairs, and blocked ways.."
