Former 4minute member Jiyoon (Jenyer) terminates her contract with her current label

Former 4minute member Jiyoon, currently promoting as solo artist Jenyer, has terminated her contract with her current label.

The idol previously signed on with JS EM Entertainment back in November of 2016, around the time when the label was first established. Since then, it changed its name to Robin K Ent., but began experiencing a downsizing in management. In addition to Jiyoon, actress Yang Mi Ra, who was also a part of Robin K Ent., has decided to part ways with the label.

Jenyer (4Minute's Jiyoon) Switches Labels For Her September Comeback

Jeon Jiyoon, a former member of 4Minute who now goes by the new stage name of Jenyer, is ready for her solo comeback.

On September 8th it was announced that Jenyer had made the switch from her current label after terminating their contract following 4Minute's disbandment. She signed with JS EMEntertainment back in November 2016, which was around the time the label was first established.

Unfortunately, the label had experienced some negative changes and even downsized their management team, causing them to lost other artists such as actress Yang Mi Ra. The label announced on September 8th that, "It's true that we recently terminated our contract with Jiyoon. We've decided to part ways amicably, and to cheer for each other's future paths."

Jenyer(Jiyoon) opened up about her former label and group.

In light of hersolo comeback, Jenyer recently sat down for an interview with TV Report. During the interview, she talked about her former group 4minute and revealed, "A part of me wanted to continue 4minute but the members had different paths they wanted to take. It was all different; one member wanted to pursue acting, one wanted to sing, and another wanted to do different music than being an idol."

Park Hyun Jin Of K-Pop Star 6 Winner Duo Boyfriend Terminates Contract With YG Entertainment

YG Entertainment stated thatĀ one of their newest artists, Boyfriends Park Hyun Jin, has terminated his exclusive contract with the agency.

Boyfriend is the duo, consisting of young artists LeeĀ Jong Seob and Park Hyun Jin, that won SBSs K-Pop Star 6. The duo signed exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment after the program just over a month ago. Boyfriend impressed all three judges of the program with not only their vocal talent but also with their rap, dance, and performance capabilities. The two began officially training at YG Entertainment two weeks ago.

miss A member Min is in talks for renewing her contract with JYP Entertainment.

Reportedly, JYP Entertainment released a statement claiming, "Currently there are negotiations underway for Min's contract renewal."

So far nothing has been confirmed, and previously sources have reported Suzy is still debating whether or not to renew with JYP Entertainment.
