Former JYP trainee and Sixteen contestant Natty opened up about why she left the agency in the first episode of Mnets Idol School.

On July 13, the much anticipated reality show Idol School premiered, and an entrance ceremony was held for the 41 new students.

One of the students was Natty, whom many of the students recognized from JYPs survival audition Sixteen.

Natty teared up as she revealed her reason for leaving the agency, saying, I had to do well to fulfill high expectations, but it was so frustrating because I couldnt.

Natty shared the reason why she left JYP Entertainment. 

The former JYP Entertainment trainee surprised many by participating in the new Mnet girl group production program 'Idol School'.

In the first episode aired on July 13, Natty shed tears and explained her departure from JYP, saying, "I left JYP because I wanted to do well and live up to the expectations but got frustrated when I couldn't. It felt weird when I was wrapping things up.."

Idol School Reveals First Rankings After Live Voting During Premiere Episode

On July 13, Mnets new survival program Idol School premiered its first episode and held its first round of live voting. Out of the 41 girls in the premiere episode, 9 will be selected by the end of the shows run to form a girl group.

During the episode, the 41 students underwent evaluations in dance, vocals, and physical training. Natty placed first in the vocal evaluation, Tasha placed first in the dance evaluation, and Kim Eun Seo placed first in the physical evaluation. Overall, Natty was selected as the top student and she led the other students in a pledge as their representative.

“Idol School” aired its second episode on July 20, and the results of viewer voting have been announced!

The reality show is aimed at training female contestants in the skills required to be an idol, and nine of the “students” will be selected to make their debut in a girl group.

In addition to their usual dance and vocal training, in this week’s episode the students also took lessons in dancing sharply in perfect sync, as well getting used to the camera, and teamwork. They also filmed a promotional video for the song “Pretty,” and Solbi appeared as a special guest teacher to give advice.

A brand new boy group is on the way for popular hip hop label Brand New Music!

The record labels founder Rhymer revealed the plans in a recent interview with BNT International, adding that the

group would be making their debut very soon.

In the interview, it was also confirmed that four of the Brand New trainees set to join the group are currently competing in this season of Produce 101, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin, Lee Dae Hwi, and Lim Young Min.
