Girls Generations Sooyoung Talks About Her New Mystery Romance Drama

Girls Generations Sooyoung discussed things to look out for in her new JTBC web drama People You May Know.

In the drama, Sooyoung plays the role of hardworking variety show producer Lee Ahn. Sooyoung explained, People You May Know tells the story of Lee Ahn tracing her memory of a forgotten love by solving the password of a phone that her ex-boyfriend left behind.

She also picked out points to look out for in the drama, saying, I think the interesting aspect of People You May Know is Lee Ahns mysterious love triangle with past lover Kim Jin Young (played by Shim Hee Sub) and new love interest Kim Jin Young (Lee Won Geun). Lee Ahns past lover Kim Jin Young (Shim Hee Sub) passes away after an accident and leaves her with a locked phone. She then meets a man with the same name as her past lover while she tries to unlock her past boyfriends phone within 10 tries.

Lee Won Geun To Join Girls Generations Sooyoung For New Web Drama

It has been confirmed that actor Lee Won Geun will be taking on the lead role with Girls Generations Choi Sooyoung in JTBCs new web drama called A Person You Could Know (literal translation).

On April 18, Lee Won Geuns agency Yooborn Company confirmed that he has accepted the casting offer.

A Person You Could Know is scheduled to have 10 episodes in total. A JTBC representative stated that although it is a web drama, they are open to the idea of airing it on television. The official broadcast date for the drama has not been decided yet.

Regarding this, the idol said, This is my first time back at the MBC Radio center in three weeks. The first thing I did was check to see if my entrance pass still worked. Broadcasted on May 10, MBC 'Radio Star' welcomed actor Lee Jong Hyuk to the show where he talked about working with Girls' Generation member Sooyoung and her older sister.

"About four years ago, I had the chance to work with Ms. Sooyoung in the drama 'Dating Agency: Cyrano' for the final kissing scene," the actor revealed.

He continued, "Shortly after that, I acted alongside Sooyoung's older sister, musical actress Choi Soo Jin in a musical whom I also had a kissing scene with."  Lee Jong Hyuk added, "Sooyoung's mother regretted it after hearing the news," causing much laughter.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and On Joo Wan confirmed for new MBC weekend drama!

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung and actor On Joo Wan have been confirmed as the leads for a new MBC weekend drama, titled 'Man Who Sets the Table' (working title).

The drama will be airing after currently airing weekend drama 'You're Too Much', and will deal with men in today's society who suffer from issues in the married life, whether it be treating marriage as simply people living together, people who are unhappy with their marriages, or people who "graduate" from their marriages and lead separate lives despite still being lawfully married.
