Sisters Slam Dunk PD Shares Whether He Regrets Doing A Second Season

With Sisters Slam Dunk Season 2 nearing its end, the producing director (PD) of the show has left some remarks in a recent interview.

PD Park In Suk, who has stayed with the show for both seasons, explained how he came to start the program in the first place. In an industry where most variety shows were focused on men, I wanted to create a show that could be centered around women, he revealed.

He then shared that he had received backlash for wanting to do a second season. I looked up and read all the malicious comments that people wrote. There were times when I got hurt but I humbly acknowledged all the criticism. People kept telling me I had a lot to lose, but I ultimately decided to go forth with another season and I do not regret it. The cast members were the best, he expressed.

On May 26, Sisters Slam Dunk Season 2 aired their final episode, with the Unnies heading to a festival at Konkuk University to put on their last performance as a group.

The episode began, however, with the Unnies carrying out their promise to wear hanbok [traditional clothing] and perform their dance in public if their single Right? got No. 1 on the music charts.

KBS 2TV 'Unnies' Slam Dunk 2' members made guest appearances on the May 31 broadcast of SBS FM 'Unnies' Radio'.

Actress Han Chae Young commented upon watching the final broadcast of 'Unnies', and said, "After watching the final episode I just sat down in front of the TV for a while. I felt a bit down. There were definitely some moments of regret. My heart was sad so I sat there for quite some time. I didn't think I would be as emotional when I saw it on the air."

Hearing this, Minzy also added, "I broke down in tears with my entire family."  Kim Sook mentioned, "I, too, cried about three times. It was sad to hear all the members talking about the end."

Gong Minzy, who just finished off her solo activities, spoke about how lonely she felt when she was promoting with 2NE1.
