BTS, SEVENTEEN, ASTRO, Loco Dominate Billboard World Albums Chart

More and more Korean artists are entering the Billboard World Album Charts this week. SEVENTEEN, ASTRO and Loco have all joined BTS Top Social Artist BTS on the charts as of June 7.

According to a report by Soompi, SEVENTEEN, who was recently lauded by Billboard for switching up their sound and going EDM with their comeback album "AI1" stayed on the chart at #4. The K-pop group debuted on the Billboard World Album Chart at #2 last week.

Roughly a week after its release last week, K-pop group ASTRO also broke through the Billboard charts with their fourth mini album "Dream Part .01". The album debuted on the charts at a high rank of #6.

G-Dragon is the first ever Korean solo artist to dominate the Billboard's 'World Album Chart' by staying at the top for two consecutive weeks. According to the site, the album sold just over 7,000 copies in the span of two weeks.

Red Velvet ranks number one on Billboard's 'World Albums' Chart!

Red Velvet is demonstrating their girl power by topping Billboard's 'World Albums' Chart for the week of July 29.

'The Red Summer: Summer Mini Album' (EP) recently made it to the number one spot on the chart!

Other K-pop artists on the list include Block B member Zico's 'Television' coming in third and G-Dragon's 'Kwon Ji Yong' trailing behind at number 4. BTS' 'You Never Walk Alone' stood strong at 12th place and Black Pink's 'Square Two' album swiftly completed the list at fifteenth.

EXO have topped Billboard's World Albumschart for the week of August 5!

The album is also #87th on Billboard 200, and title song "Ko Ko Bop" is #2 on the World Digital Song Sales Chart. Album songs such as "The Eve" and "Forever" are 8th and 24th respectively as well.

Girl group Dream Catcher made their Billboard chart debut with their 1st mini album 'Prequel' following their number 1 ranking on iTunes, making it into the top 5.  Just five slots down, G-Friend rolled in at an impressive tenth place with their 5th mini album 'Parallel'.
