Representatives of GOT7s Jackson have denied rumors that he will be appearing in a Chinese variety show that has been accused of plagiarizing tvNs Youns Kitchen.

Chinas Hunan TV recently announced that it is working on a new program called Chinese Restaurant (literal title) for their third quarter schedule. Soon after, there were media reports that GOT7s Jackson would be appearing on the show, and the news spread further when the new shows Weibo account shared a post related to the idol.

In GOT7s first concert DVD, Fly in Seoul, Jackson revealed in his individual interview that his personal goal was to show a more serious side of himself to his fans, especially in regards to his work.

He expressed that he sometimes regretted starring in variety shows as people around him saw him only as a fun guy, and often questioned him whenever he was expressionless because they thought he was upset or angry.

The video shows Jackson kicking a balloon at the end of the concert away from the stage; however, he quickly realizes that his aim was less than stellar and that a fan was unfortunately hit by the balloon. Upon seeing this, he unhesitatingly jumps off stage and checks on the fan, asking if she is okay. Jackson can be seen putting his hands on both sides of the fans head and patting her on the head after confirming she wasnt hurt.
