Jung Hyung Don To Return To MBC For The First Time Since Leaving Infinite Challenge With New Pilot

Comedian Jung Hyung Don will be the MC for MBCs upcoming two-episode pilot show Sherlocks Room (working title).

A source of MBC confirmed the news on June 16, and explained The show is mainly about solving crime. The source also revealed that the show will have Jung Hyung Don as the sole, exclusive MC with guests.

This is Jung Hyung Dons first time returning to MBC since leaving Infinite Challenge in November 2015. Jung Hyung Don left the entertainment industry temporarily at the time due to panic disorder, and returned to TV last October through MBC Every1s Weekly Idol.

Infinite Challenge Is The Most Loved TV Show By Koreans

Infinite Challenge won first place as the most loved TV program in Korea.

On May 23, Gallup Korea announced that the first place for 2017 Mays Most Loved TV Program By Koreans is MBCs Infinite Challenge, which scored a preference rating of 9.9%. Gallup Korea has been providing real life TV program popularity measures in Korea since 2013.

From January 28, Infinite Challenge took a seven week hiatus to revamp the program. Despite the long break, the show maintained its position as the longest running No.1 variety show in Korea during its leave.

Lee Hyori Confirmed To Appear As Guest On Infinite Challenge

It has been confirmed that Lee Hyori will be appearing on a future episode of Infinite Challenge.

On May 24, her agency Kiwi Media Group reported, They have not decided on a filming schedule or a specific format for the episode. Lee Hyori is currently discussing these with the production staff. The episode will reportedly air sometime next month.

Song Min Ho and Jung Hyung Don are the newest set of guests on JTBC variety show 'Give Me A Meal'!

According to a rep from JTBC on May 24, Jung Hyung Don and Song Min Ho participated in recording for the show today. 

'Give Me A Meal', hosted by Lee Kyung Kyu and Kang Ho Dong, is a food variety show where the MCs and the guests travel around the nation and request to have dinner with normal families.
