1. Sharp rise in viewer ratings

Produce 101 Season 2 started off with an average of 1.6 percent and a high of 2.1 percent ratings, which is a good start for a cable program. On episode five, the show surpassed an average of 3 percent, and broke all previous records from both seasons of the show on its last episode, gathering an average of 5.2 percent and reaching a high of 5.7 percent. For nine consecutive weeks, it took first place in its time-slot for viewers between ages 15 and 34.

Recently, a media outlet reported that a reality show with the 11 debut members of the competition series is in preparation. In response to the report, a rep of 'Produce 101' stated, "Reality program with the 11 debut members is not yet confirmed. We will discuss it after the final members are selected."

The two songs that will be featured in the final broadcast are Super Hot and Hands on Me, and as if the anticipation wasnt high enough already, Mnet recently unveiled short versions of the two songs through its official accounts. Ryan Jhun and The Underdogs are reportedly the producers behind these two songs.
