After a long road of controversies, victories, and heartache, the final episode of “Produce 101 Season 2” is almost here. The finale will be airing live on June 16 at 11 p.m. KST, and the contestants are rehearsing for the show today (June 15).

The latest episode, which aired on June 9, eliminated 15 trainees from the competition, leaving us with 20. The remaining contestants then had their pick between two debut evaluation songs (Hands on Me and Super Hot), the lower ranking members choosing first, and then higher ranking members being able to pick their parts at will while moving lower ranking members to a different part and/or song if what they wanted was already taken.

The live finale last Friday included the top 20 finalists splitting up into teams of ten to perform two original songs: Super Hot and Hands on Me. All of the top 20 also teamed up for a performance of the song Always, and were also joined by almost all of the original trainees for another performance of the shows theme song Pick Me.

Four of Brand New Music’s trainees competed on “Produce 101 Season 2. Im Young Min made it into the top 20, but didn’t secure a spot in Wanna One because he came in No. 15 when voting results were announced during the live finale.

35 Trainees Survived From The Second Round Of Elimination On 'Produce 101' Season Two

"Produce 101" season two just conducted the second round of elimination and they eliminated 24 trainees below rank 35. Trainees who ranked 35 and above survived from elimination and they were given task for the next concept battle.

On episode 8 of "Produce 101" season two, the result for the survived trainees was out and in the 35th position was Kim Dong Han. Next, there was Kwon Hyun Bin in the 34th place and Kim Ye Hyeon in the 33rd place. Jang Moon Book dropped again and received the 32nd place. Takada Kenta surprised everyone being in 31st place.
