According to the viewership rating research company ATAM on June 25, the first episode of Hyoris Homestay hit an average 11.14 percent in Seoul with peak ratings of 14.32 percent. The feat is all the more impressive considering that it is aired on a paid cable channel.

According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea on August 21, the episode of Hyoris Homestay that aired on August 20 scored nationwide ratings of 9.9 percent. This was a 2.4 percent jump from the previous episodes 7.5 percent, making it the most-watched episode of the show so far.

Along with breaking its own personal record, the show has also broken JTBCs record as well. Before Hyoris Homestay, the highest ratings for a variety show was set by Hidden Singer 2 at 8.71 percent.

On September 24, JTBC aired the final episode of Hyoris Homestay and achieved high ratings until the end.

According to ratings research company ATAM (All That Audience Measurement), Hyoris Homestay recorded peak viewer ratings of 12.34 percent and average viewer ratings of 9.05 percent. The highest ratings of the episode were achieved during the minute of 10:10 p.m. KST.

The final episode of the show also marked the final day of the homestay business for Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon, and IU. The trio sat around the dining room table for the last time and talked about their first day together. Suddenly, Lee Hyori put colored pencils and a notebook in front of her husband, and asked him to draw IU. Lee Sang Soon drew IU, Lee Hyori drew Lee Sang Soon, and IU drew Lee Hyori.

The producer Ma Gun Young said, We filmed for  about 15 days including the preparation stages, and it wasnt easy because it was a 24-hour observation shoot, without the staffs intervention. [Lee Hyori and IU] found that a bit challenging, but they had fun filming along with the non-celebrity guests.

KBS2 TVs Fight My Way continues to be the top drama in viewership ratings this week, as it recorded a viewership rating of 11.4 percent (according to Nielsen Korea) during its sixth episode, which aired last night. This is a 0.8 percent increase from the previous nights episode, which was 10.6 percent, and the highest it has recorded so far for its run.

The rom-com drama, starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won, was followed by SBSs My Sassy Girl, which recorded 8.1 percent and 9.3 percent ratings for episodes 7 and 8 (airing back to back), while MBCs Lookout recorded 7.1 percent and 7.7 percent for episodes 11 and 12 (airing back to back).
