MBC Variety Show Producers Including Kim Tae Ho From Infinite Challenge Join General Strike Against Company

More of MBCs show producers (PDs) have joined the general labor strike against the broadcasting station in order to rectify the companys corruption.

According to MBCs national media labor union headquarters, 56 variety show PDs held a general meeting on the afternoon of August 21, and all 56 of them, including Kim Tae Ho from Infinite Challenge, agreed to join the general strike.

The objective of the strike is the right to impartial broadcast and the resignation of MBCs current president Kim Jang Gyum.

MBC Denies Rumors About Discontinuation And New Season Of Infinite Challenge

MBC denied recent reports that Infinite Challenge will be discontinued and a second season will be created instead.

On May 23, reports surfaced that Infinite Challenge will be wrapping up the show at the end of this year after 12 years of running on MBC. The reports also stated that MBC is in talks with producing director (PD) Kim Tae Ho about creating a second season with brand new members.
