Jenyer(Jiyoon) opened up about her former label and group.

In light of hersolo comeback, Jenyer recently sat down for an interview with TV Report. During the interview, she talked about her former group 4minute and revealed, "A part of me wanted to continue 4minute but the members had different paths they wanted to take. It was all different; one member wanted to pursue acting, one wanted to sing, and another wanted to do different music than being an idol."

Sunmi shares why she decided to leave JYP Entertainment after 10 years

Former Wonder Girls member Sunmi talked about her departure from JYP Entertainment. 

On August 22, Sunmi held a showcase for new solo album 'Gashina'. The singer was given varying questions about her first music release since joining MAKE US Entertainment, and she was also asked about the reason she left the major label JYPE.

Sunmi explained, "I felt like a frog in a well. I was under JYPE for 10 years. It was difficult to leave and I'm also afraid of new things, but the reason I made the decision was that I felt like my perspective was limited. I believed there would be a different world (outside of JYPE)."

Former 4minute member Jiyoon, currently promoting as solo artist Jenyer, has terminated her contract with her current label.

The idol previously signed on with JS EM Entertainment back in November of 2016, around the time when the label was first established. Since then, it changed its name to Robin K Ent., but began experiencing a downsizing in management. In addition to Jiyoon, actress Yang Mi Ra, who was also a part of Robin K Ent., has decided to part ways with the label.

Jeon Jiyoon, a former member of 4Minute who now goes by the new stage name of Jenyer, is ready for her solo comeback.

On September 8th it was announced that Jenyer had made the switch from her current label after terminating their contract following 4Minute's disbandment. She signed with JS EMEntertainment back in November 2016, which was around the time the label was first established.

Unfortunately, the label had experienced some negative changes and even downsized their management team, causing them to lost other artists such as actress Yang Mi Ra. The label announced on September 8th that, "It's true that we recently terminated our contract with Jiyoon. We've decided to part ways amicably, and to cheer for each other's future paths."

Jiyoon, a former member of 4Minute who now goes by the name of Jenyer, has recently spoken up about her time spent with the girl group and what she claims is the real reason behind their sudden disbandment.

During an interview with TV Reporton September 12th, Jenyer opened up almost instantly when the question about her former group members had arisen.
