Jeon So Mi opens up about performing with 'Unnies'

Jeon So Mi recently sat down with Star News for an interview, where she had an honest talk about her career after IOI.

Since the group's disbandment, the sixteen-year-old high school student has been keeping herself busy, appearing on numerous variety shows and practicing in the studio. "I've been taking some personal time to improve my skills. I usually head to the studio and practice after school or move on to my next schedule," she shared.

Onto having the chance to work with Unnies on 'Unnies Slam Dunk 2', she commented, "I didn't think that the team would even flourish at first, but I became really attached afterward."

The May 5 installment of KBS2TV's 'Unnies' Slam Dunk 2' featured Jeon So Mi and the rest of the 'Unnies' crew on their way to Busan via a train.

As soon as they got off the train, the women shouted with joy "Wow, we're in Busan!"

The members looked around the rather deserted station upon entering, when Jeon So Mi claimed with a cautious Busan dialect, "Aren't there any zombies around here?" referring to the flesh feasting film 'Train to Busan.'  With that, Kim Sook followed up with, "Yeah, you girls have to watch out for them zombies!"

Yang Yoseob added, We like to joke with each other and say that this is our first concert as a rookie group, but its quite incredible to be in the same venue as our very first concert. We tried to prepare as many songs as possible that have all five of us on stage at the same time, rather than solo songs or unit performances, because we wanted to go back to our roots. Were so happy to see so many fans here.
