According to a report by Soompi, Ji Chang Wook shared details of the romantic comedy as well as his character. He also shared how well the working environment in "Suspicious Partner" was working out, leading to an enjoyable filming experience.

"I think I'm going to have a lot of fun filming this drama (Suspicious Partner). I'm so, so excited and am looking forward to it," Ji Chang Wook said. "I can't sleep at night because I want to start filming (laughs). I have a feeling laughter will be constant on the set. I can't wait."

On April 12, Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun hit the streets of Seoul to promote their new drama, “Suspicious Partner.”

The footage from the event, which cleverly parodied campaigns for the upcoming presidential elections in Korea, was released in the form of a teaser for the drama.  The teaser starts off with Nam Ji Hyun dancing to the song We No Speak Americano while Ji Chang Wook acts as a politician giving a speech at a rally.  Ji Chang Wook shouts, On May 10, when the new history of Korea begins, the new drama Suspicious Partner will start.  Lets all get into the new page of history, and then starts to chant his name.  Following this, he joins Nam Ji Hyun on the fun and the two dance together to the rest of the song.
