Fans of OCN's "Bad Guys" who have been patiently waiting for its sequel may be disappointed to learn that the second season being produced by OCN not a sequel, but a spinoff. This means that motley crew of Mad Dog's convicts turned police investigators will be no more and instead, a new team will be formed with a slightly different concept.

It was earlier reported by Kpopstarz that OCN was getting ready to shoot with the original team - writer Han Jung Hoon, PD Han Dong Hwa, as well as original cast members Kim Sang Joong, Park Hae Jin, Ma Dong Seok, Jo Dong Hyuk and Kang Ye Won to pick up the story from where the original series left off. It can be recalled that the idea of a sequel was teased at the ending when Mad Dog Oh Gu Tak (Kim Sang Joong) was seen as he was being released from prison to consult on a complicated case being handled by the police. "Train to Busan" star Ma Dong Seok, who played underground thug Park Un Cheol in "Bad Guys" Season 1 also teased a return during the BTS clip where he said they wanted to come back for Season 2.

Actor Ji Soo is starring in his first genre drama, the OCN "Bad Guys Season 2".

He takes on the role of Han Kang-joo, someone who lives prison life for someone else. He sacrifices himself for his family but he finds out it was a trap.

He is making a great change in his acting path. He was recently in the dramas "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon", "Fantastic", "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo" and more.

He will be co-starring with Park Joong-hoon, Joo Ji-hoon and Kang Ha-neul.

It is also expected that the original team of Kim Sang Joong, Park Hae Jin, Ma Dong Seok, Jo Dong Hyuk and Kang Ye Won will be returning to reprise their roles in the series.
