On July 7, the agency stated, "On the 6th, Seoul's Gangnam Police station gave us a notice concerning the related situation," revealing JYPE has started taking legal action. The label has already heightened security for the girl group as when they returned from their concert in Japan.

On June 7, a source from JYP Entertainment revealed, We submitted a complaint regarding the hydrochloric acid terror threat made against our agency group TWICE yesterday at Gangnam Police Station.

The source continued, The members were stricken with fear due to the terror threat about inflicting injury upon them with 10 liters of hydrochloric acid at the airport upon their return to Korea posted on the far-right online community site Ilgan Best [also known as Ilbe]. Thus the agency has requested that the police start an investigation.

Police continue investigation into A Pink's death threat incident

It appears the investigation is far from over as police recently gave an update regarding A Pink's death threat situation.

On June 19, it was revealed the court issued a search and seizure warrant requested by police in order to capture the alleged person who made death threat calls towards girl group A Pink.

In the meantime, officers at the Gangnam Police Station are working to trace 112 calls made by the culprit. Police stated, "The death threats were made not once, but multiple times. The person used domestic phone lines as well as international lines to avoid being tracked."

It was earlier reported on July 3rd that an Ilbe user threatened to hurt K-Pop's sensational group TWICE by throwing hydrochloric acid on them. Now, JYP Entertainment is taking the threat seriously.

JYP Entertainment is taking action against the Ilbeuser by filing a police investigation on July 7th, 2017. The following photo was uploaded to the site and the uploader left a disturbing comment in how they will hard the sweet ladies of TWICE.

The post came up on July 2nd saying "TWICE has abandoned Korea and is earning a ton of money in Japan". The photo above shows the line of Japanese fans who had come to see TWICE. The post continued on with, "Yeah, money is good. Money is the best. Never come to Korea. I'll be waiting for you at the airport with 10 L of hydrochloric acid."
