China gathers young rappers to send a message to South Korea about their opposition on THAAD

China is expressing their strong opposition on THAAD, this time, with a group of young rappers.

Rappers sanctioned by the Chinese government recently released a music video regarding the issue on the deployment of THAAD or Terminal High Altitude Area Defense.

CD REV, one of the rappers of the group, revealed that they received help from government officials to complete and promote the video on foreign websites.

In the MV, the Chinese rappers speak up on behalf of their nation, and tell South Korea that ''Your big brother is annoyed'', ''You're going too far''. The group also chants, ''We say no, no, no'', to emphasize China's displeasure on South Korea's actions.

EXO's Baekhyun is indeed experiencing one of the most successful moments of his life as he has topped the Chinese music charts. SM Entertainment confirms this as the latest track of the male idol entitled, "Take You Home" has managed to top the Xiami's Korean music chart despite the many rivals.

According to Hello K-pop, the hit single of Baekhyun was released by SM Entertainment last April 14 on STATION Season 2, which is the digital channel of the management company. And as soon as it was released, it managed to top two of the charts namely, the combined and Korean music charts.

The ranking of the most popular Korean idol in China as according to Weibo’s PowerStar has officially been revealed for the month of March. Every month it releases this ranking, showing which Korean celebrities are rising in popularity in China. This list includes both the top ten male and female celebrities that are from South Korea.

While the number one spot for both female and male celebrities have remained the same since February, other changes have been made to the list of March, and new names have even been added!

IU tops the brand value ranking for singers in April + BTS and TWICE follow

IU is the top girl group in terms of brand value for April.

According to the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, IU was at the top of the April data, followed by BTS and TWICE. 83,142,847 pieces of data were examined from March 20th to April 21st.

The rest of the singers ranked were, in order, Black Pink, Taeyeon, EXO, Red Velvet, BTOB, Seventeen, Big Bang, and AOA.
