KBS to stop airing dramas for Friday/Saturday timeslot

Unfortunately for viewers, KBS will halt broadcasting dramas on Fridays and Saturdays.

The decision comes as a result of low viewership ratings even with hit dramas, such as 'The Best Shot' and 'Producer'. 'Producer' is the company's highest rated drama for this time slot, achieving a total of 17.7%. On average, the dramas airing within this time slot receive approximately 3-4%. 'Best Deliveryman', which is currently airing, received a 3.5% for its pilot episode.

KBS will implement this new change after the completion of 'Best Deliveryman' and 'Confession Couple' at the end of this year.
