Actress Kim So Hyun, who recently wrapped up her drama 'Monarch - Owner of the Mask', shared her thoughts on acting alongside idols, as well as her most notable scene.

This is the actress's second time co-acting alongside an idol, previously having worked with 2PM's Taecyeon in 'Hey Ghost, Let's Fight'. In 'Monarch - Owner of the Mask', she acted beside INFINITE's L."I am not sure if this applies to all idol actors, but Taecyeon and L both had overwhelming drive to do well. Regardless of the situation, they had great mind control and kept telling themselves 'I can do this!' They would gives themselves pep talks. Their energy levels were different from actors; it took me by surprise."

The crown prince Yoo Seung Ho clenches his symbolic mask in his hand, while lead female actress Kim So Hyun bares a sword with a poignant expression. INFINITE's L holds another mask in his hands, also wearing royal robes to express his desires to become the king.

Secondary leads Park Chul Min, Yoon So Hee, and Heo Jun Ho each carry unique expressions of their own, whether it be charisma, wit, or passion.

On a Naver 'V Live' broadcast this May 23, singer Hwang Chi Yeol chatted about his latest OST collaboration with MBC drama 'Monarch- Owner of the Mask', titled "Even A Little While".

Set for release on May 24, the singer said, "I've been listening to the song every day. The song is finally being released tomorrow; please look forward to it."

Hwang Chi Yeol continued, "I tried my best to sound manly while recording it. The music video also turned out well so I'm happy."

'Monarch - Owner of the Mask', awaiting its premiere this May, revealed new stills of lead actors Yoo Seung Ho and INFINITE's L!

The two actors will be playing two men born into very different circumstances, but who happen to share the same name Lee Sun, in the upcoming drama. Yoo Seung Ho plays the role of the crown prince Lee Sun, who fights against a powerful organization opposed to the royalty. INFINITE's L plays a lowly working class son named Lee Sun, with a genius brain he's unable to put to any use because of his status.

Filming for the newly revealed still cut took place this past April 16, amidst a full bloom of rhododendrons. YoonA seems to be in the middle of sneaking up on Siwan, signaling Hong Jong Hyun to stay quiet. 

'The King Loves' is a fictional, historical romance based on a romance novel of the same name. It will be filmed 100% prior to broadcast; no airing date has been announced yet.
