Kim Soo Hyun and Sulli's action noir film 'Real' didn't live up to the hype and has been a major disappointment at the box office, attracting less than 500,000 admissions to date.
According to numbers from the Korean Film Committee on July 19, 'Real' gained just 1,578 admissions on July 18 and the film has a total admissions number of 466,331.
The number of theaters playing 'Real' has dwindled. It is currently screening in a total of 58 locations as opposed to 970 screenings on opening day. There is no doubt the movie has clearly flopped at the box office after nearly 4 weeks. In comparison, the movie 'Anarchist from Colony' which opened on the same day as 'Real' on June 28 has attracted an admissions number of more than 2.2 million viewers to date.
