Things are getting heated in Korea and not just because of the summer humidity. Korea, alongside its people, are known for being anti-LGBTQIA+ and not recognizing nor providing rights for people who identify as such. Now, a recent poll shows just how much opposition the country has against the gay community.

On August 25th a poll was posted on the Seoul City Government Official's online forum which asked visitors "What do you think about the Queer Culture Festival in Korea?" As anticipated, it was met with a lot of hate with over 98% against the idea during its first 3 days of release.

Shin Dong Yup and Hong Jin Young "get close" in a new skit on 'SNL Korea'

On the August 5 broadcast of tvN's 'SNL Korea', Hong Jin Young and Shin Dong Yup acted out a flirty skit together.

In the skit, Shin Dong Yup played a role of an aging man who was being taken care of by a house maid in which Hong Jin Young played the role of. In the clip, Hong Jin Young is seen helping Shin Dong Yup talk on the phone and she gets close to him. While getting a close-up view of Hong Jin Young's chest, Shin Dong Yup says on the phone, "It's been a long time... from now on, we will meet each other frequently." Hong Jin Young then asks Shin Dong Yup why his ears are so red.
