He was featured on the cover of the August edition of Marie Claire Magazine in Taiwan, which confirms how big he is internationally after the success of the drama, "Goblin".

On the cover, he wore the classic white shirt with fitted suit and used flowers to emphasize his beauty. He is surely a handsome actor but I think he is somewhere between the word handsome and beautiful. Between him and flowers, I don't know which is more beautiful at this point. Also, his smile is melting every women's heart.

Back in 2010, Shin Dong Wook halted all promotions after being diagnosed with the rare, incurable illness. After 6 years, Shin Dong Wook has finally returned to broadcasts, recently makinghis first public appearance with a bright smile.

During the talk show, he revealed, "My teeth broke while I was trying to resist the pain...Now, it's just my hands that hurt, and the other places on my body have been treated. I don't feel much pain now. The last pain I felt was the cold. In the past, it used to feel like I was getting stabbed with a knife when the cold wind blew. Now, even the air conditioner is ok."

Your Grim Reaper character was so unique and we can’t imagine anyone else playing it. What is the secret behind making the character special?

I’ve also tried to imagine it but I couldn’t. I’m just kidding! What I considered the most important thing in acting out the Grim Reaper was the difference between his attitude while he was working and not, and I worked hard to make that clear. I think that’s what stood out as special. Additionally, I wanted to emphasis a cold outward appearance for the times he was doing his job. So his uniform would have metal studs on the shirt and his shoes.
