Lee Hyori perfects the cowgirl look in 'Cosmopolitan'

Lee Hyori recently graced the cover of 'Cosmopolitan's August issue.

Posing under the scorching desert sun in California, the singer showed off her new dreadlock hairstyle. Lee Hyori shines wearing a check pattern printed dress by Polo Ralph Lauren, a knitted poncho, a velvet dress, and a cowgirl hat as if illustrating a scene from a classic Western film.

In regards to her latest album 'BLACK', Lee Hyori commented, "I would have to say lounging around and doing nothing would have to an essential part of the album. I'm the type who is always on the move and getting things done, but when I came to Jeju Island I was able to lay everything down and just rest. From then on, a few melodies naturally resonated here and there."

With numerous requests pouring in, hoping to stay at Lee Hyori's guesthouse, producer Jung Hyo Min gave an update on the overall selection process.  

On May 4, Producer Jung Hyo Min told OSEN, "We had no idea so many people would apply," laughing.

The producer continued, "We are currently carefully reviewing each and every entry and story.  We want to focus on the person and not just the story itself...We are looking into those who would want to communicate and who are comfortable being around with."

Many people are looking forward to watching Lee Hyori's new reality show "Hyori's Home Stay". Thousands of people reportedly have signed up to participate and get a taste of Lee Hyori's life in Jeju Island.

According to Allkpop, regular people are not the only ones who are excited to stay in Lee Hyori's bed and breakfast. The production director of the JTBC's reality show, Jung Hyo Min revealed that celebrities are also submitting their applications to be included in the show.

However, Jung Hyo Min refused to give away the names of celebrities who have put their applications. The producer also concerns about having celebrities participating in the show because he's afraid they'll not be able to blend in with regular participants. If his party comes to the decision to admit celebrities into the show, he makes sure there will be no special treatments for them.
