Mad Town never had good luck with labels. Two years after debuting, J.Tune Campunofficially closed in 2016, leaving them without any label. J.Tune Camp then sold management of Mad Town to GNI Entertainmentinstead for a mere 30 million KRW (approximately 26,500 USD). However, GNI Entertainment's CEO was arrested in March 2017 for fraud, dissipating GNI Entertainment and leaving Mad Town's status up in the air.
