Magic School Releases Drama Stills Of 2PMs Nichkhun Acting In His First Korean Role

2PM member Nichkhun will be showing his acting skills in a Korean drama for the very first time through JTBCs web drama Magic School.

Nichkhun will play the role of Joon, a Korean adoptee from the U.S. who becomes a doctor with the hopes of giving back to the world. He comes back to live in Korea for six years to revisit his roots.

In reality, this year marks Nichkhuns 10th year living in Korea. Nichkhun said, I got nervous before filming, but I was able to successfully film with the help of the drama production staff and other actors. Like the other characters who have unique situations that bring them to the magic school, Joon goes to the magic school because he wants to give hope to a young boy diagnosed with a chronic disease.

In the web drama, Nichkhun plays the role of a Korean adoptee who lives in the US. After becoming a doctor, he returns to Korea for 6 years to discover his roots and help a young boy with a chronic disease. The 2PM member himself has been living in South Korea for 10 years now, and he expressed, "The first Korean drama I'm starring in. I'm thankful to a lot of people."

The drama has cast GOT7's Jinyoung, 2PM's Nichkhun, actor Yoon Park, and more.Jinyoung will playNara, a college student who's never dated before who dreams of becoming a government worker. Nichkhun will be playing doctor Joon, who is poor but has a warm hard. Yoon Park will be playing a cold, star magician Jay with a deep sadness. Magic School is a web drama series that tells the story of five unique individuals who end up at a magic school for different reasons and the unexpected events that unfold when they all meet up. Fans are excited to see some of their favorite singers turn into actors such as Nichkhun in his first ever Korean drama and Jinyoung in his fifth Korean drama. This series aired its first episode on September 11 and will air a total of 16 episodes every weekday on 7 a.m. KST.
