On July 13, the star made the donation of 10 million won to the corporation “Dream On Social Welfare Society,” with the cash being given to pay for faculty uniforms for incoming middle school students in Boseong county, South Korea.

It used to be reported that her father Bae Wan Young visited the Boseong County Place of work to make the donation on her behalf. He said, “We hope that this may be of even a little lend a hand to the scholars who reside in farming areas.”

Suzy’s firm JYP Entertainment answered to reports by way ofpronouncing that she had made the donation without the agency’s knowledge. “Suzy steadily makes donations, so it more or less feels like she’s done some otherjust right deed this time as well,” a JYP representative told news outlet Star News.

After donating to the Sewol ferry relief effort, miss A"s Suzy has stepped up to help out another worthy cause.

On April 30, Chosun University Hospital in Gwangju, Jeonnam revealed that Suzy donated 5 million Won (~$4840 USD) for Children"s Day, which is coming up on May 5. A rep from the hospital stated that the miss A member gave through the Life Share Practice Organization, ensuring medical care for five patients.

Suzy is also known to donate 10 million Won (~$9676 USD) yearly to pediatric cancer and leukemia patients.

Hoping to help in the rescue mission of ferry victims, YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk donated 500 million won.

A rep from YG Entertainment spoke with Newsen on April 25, saying, “Yang Hyun Suk decided to donate 500 million won to help the victims in the recent Sewol ferry accident.”

Yang Hyun Suk requested to his executives that the 500 million won be delivered well to the families of the victims.

On April 16 around 9AM (KST), a passenger ferry, Sewol, sank on its way to Jeju from Incheon. As of April 24, 174 passengers out of 475 have been saved. 171 have been confirmed dead and 131 are still missing.

* As of April 25, 9AM (KST), 181 people have been confirmed dead with 121 still missing.
