More than 45,000 people attend 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL'

On July 8, more than 45,000 people attended 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL' at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

This was the first time 'SMTOWN LIVE' took place in Korea since 2014 - with the large attendance, the domestic fans were definitely waiting for this. On this day, SM Entertainment's artists participated in the concert such as EXO, Red Velvet, TVXQ's Yunho, f(X)'s Luna, NCT, Henry, SHINee, Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TRAX, BoA, Kangta, and much more.

'SMTOWN LIVE' started back in 2008 targeting major cities such as Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, and others. As the first ever Korean act to hit Europe scene and Paris show being sold out only in 15 minutes back in 2011, this was also one for the history books. The show consisted of a variety of performances that showcased all different music genres: EDM, dance, pop, ballad, and more in which totaled to 52 different performances.

During the stage for his new song "Drop", his pants split to reveal his rather bright underwear beneath. However, he continued professionally throughout the stage and even talked to the crowd with his malfunction and impressed the crowd with his professionalism.

TVXQ's Yunho talked about his wardrobe malfunction.

During the 'SMTOWN Live World Tour' in Seoul, he was performing his new song "Drop" when his pants split. He said, "Some people ask if it was noise marketing. To be honest, I knew my pants had split, but I didn't want to cut the flow of the stage. I wanted to work hard since it was a big stage. I had a lot of supportive comments saying 'It was cool to see his expression didn't even change in that situation', and 'As expected of TVXQ'."

G-Dragon Kicks off World Tour with Concert in Seoul

G-Dragon of boy band Big Bang launched his solo world tour with a performance for 40,000 adoring fans at World Cup Stadium in Seoul on Saturday. The show followed the release of his first solo album in four years.

The concert, which took in W4.4 billion in ticket sales, will likely be one of the singer's last in Seoul before he is drafted (US$1=W1,125).

Unable to tear themselves away after the 21-song, two-hour show, the fans launched into an a cappella version of G-Dragon's 2009 hit "1 Year Station" in the dark. After five minutes, the singer returned to the stage and performed a three-song encore including his new track "Untitled, 2014". Although the song was released just three days earlier, the fans knew it by heart and sang it with him.
